About VITRU

VITRU, our Architectural Rendering House, specializing in Architectural 3D renderings, 3D modeling and illustrustrations, 3D animated virtual walkthroughs, owes its provenance to two geniuses at the same time, in the realm of architecture. To Marcus Vitruvius Pollio, the author of De Architectura, the treatise known today as the ten books of architecture and to Leonardo Da Vinci, the artist who, in the year 1490, depicted the vitruvian man, in the most architectural style!!

Vitruvius was, in addition to being a writer, an architect and engineer himself, active in the 1 st Century BC. Though he worked on just one building, a basilica at Fanum Fortunae, now the modern town of Fano, he is described as the first ever architect.

Surprising as it may seem, Leonardo Da Vinci delineated the proportions of the Human Body (the Vitruvian Man) in the most accurate mathematical measures, proving that the Human Body is by itself an astounding architectural manifestation. It seemed that the most breath taking architectural constructions were after all, the reflection of the corresponding arithmetical dimensions that prevailed in the human system.
